If you can conceive
a single word which is almost forbidden in any society, I am sure that
surely is “Sex”. It’s an irony that human existence depends on this and they
knowingly or unknowingly denied for this.
Human has completed more
than a million years for his culture, yet this word has not gotten any respect
what it deserved.
I am not able to
understand, how come someone become a bad human being by just using this word?
I think this is the only
word in the English dictionary which can be used as a humiliation,
disrespect, torture, fun, molestation, etc. against someone.
I thought over & over
this and thought possible reasons that make human so conservative
using this word and feels shy talking about “Sex”, not only that whenever
someone used this word, that person suddenly become the center of attention.I
analyzed this and established some interesting facts, maybe some of these you
already aware of.
Let us understand, what is
a “Sex”, In the term of biology, it can be considered one of the normal
function of our body.
In daily life every
species consume the food to get the energy for living, in the response to this
consumption of the food, his body extract the required portion out of the
food and leave the waste in the form of urine and stool.
Not a big deal, we all
know this, for an animal or a human this is a routine cycle. Similarly, when a
man or animal feels the urge in their body they go for the sex. Technically, it
is as good as drinking water to quench thirst or eating food for
starvation and later on eliminating the waste from the body to feel light then
why this “Sex” has become so much attractive to human and animal?
Why it has not been
considered as one of the normal functions?
I watched a couple of
videos of lions, bisons, deers, monkeys and other animals. A very
interesting fact, which I observed was that for these animals “Sex” is the
representation of their strength & power.
Let us consider an example
of a lion pack, usually in a pack there are a couple of lioness and one or more
lion. One of the lions is the boss of this pack, in the technical
language, he is the chief of this pack, he has first right to eat the meat, yet
he is not doing hunting, however he maintains his authority in mating with a
lioness, he picks the lioness as per his wishes. To be the chief of the pack,
lion has to go for a deadly fight against his rivals. Similarly other animals
have to do the fight to be a chief.
Here the question comes in
mind, why a lion wants to be the chief of the pack? Why he chose to go for a
deadly fight to claim his authority?
One very obvious
reason is food and other is the “Sex”. Similarly if you notice in other animals
as dogs, bisons, deer, monkeys, wolves, bulls…. You will be surprised to see
that these animals also go for a deadly fight to claim a female partner of
their choice for mating.
Not only animal, even many
birds have to fight for selecting their female partner for mating. Why sex is
so much powerful that animals, birds and human have to go for a deadly fight?
Human history is full of
all the evidences that many wars just happened because for a woman, whether it
was “Ramayna, Mahabhart” and many more, however we have rare stories that women
ever fought for a man.
In ancient India, it was
well showoff of the power that how many queens a king have? Similarly in the
gulf countries, A rich man or ruler (Ameer) has many wives and women in his
“Haram”.
I guess, for a human, Sex
is the symbol of a Prestige, Pleasure, Power and Prosperity in the society then
how come it is a bad word in term of general usage?
If we look prosperous
ancient India when it used to be known as a “Golden Bird”, “Sex” was pretty
open at that time. We gave the first thesis on sex in the form of “Kamsutra” to
the world, not only that “Khujrao” temples and “Ajanta Ellora” caves represent
the openness of our society of that time. These arts/sculpture clearly shows
that how much we were liberal about sex, not only that it also indicate that
how much woman was independent and open about sex.
Gradually India lost its
prime and sex became as a forbidden entities. It didn’t end it over here, as
time passes India lost its confidence, power, prosperity and pride, in the
result India starts treating women as a slave and arrest them inside the house
forever.
If we read our “Vedas” and
literatures, There are many descriptions about open sex or in other word
“Gandharv Vivah” that's how come a man & woman could engage without formal
marriage?
Now, living together
is just a mere representation of “Gandharv Vivah”.
The same was true when
“Roman” empire was in full of glory that time they were very open about sex.
Woman & man were free to do it anywhere and anytime, it was merely a
symbol of joy and prosperity.
In today’s world, why the
western world is very liberal over sex comparable to Eastern, Because their
countries are prosperous in respect to these countries?
Same trend, we are
seeing in India in the last couple of years, since when Indian economy is
booming.
I guess it is the only
word available in the English literature which has tremendous power, only
people are offended by using it, those have lost their pride , prosperity and
power in the generations.
